If you go to their website, all you’ll see are steam cleaners and steam cleaning tutorials, which we think is a great sign that this company is dedicated to their craft. They don’t do a little of everything, just steam cleaners.
On their customer service side, you’ll see that getting to the support page is pretty easy.
Their contact email and number are both listed in plain view with instructions to register your product when buying it.Make sure to do this ASAP, or you will have a hard time with any warranty claims in the future.
Vapamore offers a lifetime warranty on their boiler, internal electric parts, and the heating element. They also offer a 1-year warranty on the accessories.
Even though Vapamore has this great warranty, we had a really hard time finding anyone who successfully redeemed it. This isn’t to say that they don’t stand by their product, but it is interesting.
Something we found during our research, was that there are A LOT of ways to void your warranty probably resulting in more unhappy customers looking to vent their frustrations on the internet. - Only use distilled water. Using hard water will void the warranty and cause failure.Here’s one we recommend.
- Never useadditivessuch as perfumes, stain removers, or other chemicals in the water tank as they will void the warranty, cause permanent damage, and be dangerous.
- Do not return to the place of purchase for warranty or repairs. Only Vapamore is authorized to facilitate all repairs to keep the highest quality and ETL standards. Repairs or tampering by any other party will void the Warranty
- Register your product within 15 days of purchaseto ensure you are entitled to your warranty.
A Note About Vapamore
At the end of the day, this steam cleaning system should be looked at as an investment in home care and possible bug removal. You should take care to read the user guide and understand how your machine works. It can be very easy to get eager and start filling up the water tank with tap water and blasting away, which will break your unit and void your warranty.

Just plain old heated (distilled) water.
This is a great option for people who want to stay the natural route.

Because the Vapamore uses steam we consider it to be a fairly safe solution to cleaning your home and killing bugs.
Pets and children should be alright so long as you keep the unit secure for about 15 minutes after use to avoid anyone getting hurt with steam.
Overall Effectiveness:
As a cleaning tool, Vapamore is effective at removing dirt, grime, grease, stains, spots, smudges, and just about anything else that could be stuck to your floor.
If your goal is to kill off bed bugs or dust mites, then you’ll also be happy to know that this unit will get the job done.
With temperatures up to 200 degrees, any bed bug that meets the steam, will die.
But… the hard part here is finding all of the bugs in your house.
So long as you can pinpoint them, you’ll have no trouble killing them.

Usually in this section, we compare various products to see who wins out, but since the McCulloch and Vapamore are in such a tight race, we decided to dedicate this entire section to reviewing them side by side.
We are specifically looking at the McCulloch MC1275 and the Vapamore MR100.
Which one is better? Let’s find out.
How Does Vapamore Primo Cleaner Compare to McCulloch Mc-1275?
First off, let’s just state the obvious.
The McCulloch is a bit more affordable than the Vapamore making it a better “budget” option.
But since you might be saving money, do you lose out on features? Possibly.
For starters, the tank tends to be smaller reducing your operational time from 60 minutes with the Vapamore to about 45 minutes with the McCulloch. Depending on the final model you pick, these numbers may be different.
The Vapamore more ships with 20+ different attachments, where the McCulloch ships with 18.
The McCulloch does heat up a bit faster (8 minutes) where it takes about 11 minutes for the Vapamore unit.
Honestly… most things between these two products are the same, but the one big different is the warranty.
