Since 1981 Northeast Pest Control has been servicing Albany, New York, and surrounding areas with top of the line professional pest control, management, and wildlife removal services. They have been named one of the top three pest control companies in Albany NY, tying for the honor with Thomas Pest, and Meerkat Pest Control.

Northeast Pest Control company utilizes standard pest control practices such as integrated pest management, or IPM, and the exterminator techniques to help their customers control their pest problems and stay pest-free.

They have a dog for sniffing out bed bugs which, while not unheard-of, is still an uncommon pest control solution. I believe it is on the track to becoming something one will think of as commonplace. They bring to the table 39 years of experience and while this is certainly longer than many pest control companies it is not the longest-lived company that I’ve seen.

What really sets them apart from other companies in the industry is their same day service. Usually, if you need someone to take care of your pest issues and deliver peace of mind you have to wait for two to three business days before anyone will be at your house.

My only true criticism is that if they offer any sort of warranty with their work it isn’t well advertised. I do know that they offer a 60-day warranty for their bed bug service but none of their other services seem to come with the same promise.

One would think that their termite treatments would have something along the same lines as the warranty that the bed bug treatment gets. If this company does offer a warranty on their work I highly recommend they make it public knowledge.

Once you weigh the good versus the bad, it is all too easy to see why Northeast Pest Control has been selected as one of the top three for quality pest control.

Despite being a little lackluster on the warranty side of things, they have a strong core of services that they can offer the customer. They really put their best foot forward when trying to resolve any problems that their customers have. I could easily recommend them to anyone and have peace of mind for having done so.

Which Pests Does Northeast Pest Control Cover?

Northeast Pest Control offers the usual gambit of pest services such as termites, termite inspections, termite control, baiting options for applicable pests and wildlife, bed bug removal, bed bug detection via a K9, bed bug control, rodent control, cockroaches, fleas, mosquitos, carpenter ants, and other pests that you think of when you hear the word infestation. Unlike many other companies, they also treat beetles, moles, voles, and offer wildlife control.

They also offer wildlife removal services for creatures like raccoons, opossums, woodchucks squirrels, and chipmunks. These services are available for both commercial and residential accounts.

This wildlife removal service comes with a comprehensive plan to seal and repair areas that the critter used to get into your home in the first place. They also offer all of these best pest control practices in the form of commercial pest control for those who have businesses.

How Expensive Is Northeast Pest Control?

While it is difficult to be certain on any price in this industry as so much of the cost will fluctuate depending on the area that needs to be treated to whether it is an insect, rodent, or wildlife issue, I can say that my research has indicated that this is a very reasonably priced company.

Unfortunately, this company like so many others doesn’t post their costs for quarterly services so I am unable to give you an exact number that you can expect to pay. Also, a one-time service is probably going to be more expensive per visit than if you get a quarterly plan. However, if you just need a one-time service that may be the way to go.

Just be aware that no matter how reasonable any of their other prices might be if you are having a termite treatment done or bed bug removal, those services are always more expensive because they are a lengthy process.

Is Northeast Pest Control Pet Safe?

With all of their great qualities, I have not been able to ascertain what they are using for pesticides or what measures they take to protect your pets. They have this amazing learning center on their website that talks about many interesting topics.

You would think that that would have been a perfect place to have a little segment about the importance of pet safety, what you can do to protect your pet, and what steps they will take to protect your pet.

Always make sure to talk to your pest control technician before having any treatment done at your house about what steps you need to take to protect your pet if any, also tell them what kind of pet you have.

What needs to be done will vary based on the animal and product being used, the technician might even need to change products depending on the pet that you have. This is especially true if you are having any kind of interior treatments.

Does Northeast Pest Control Offer Free Inspections?

In my research, I noticed that the website for Northeast Pest Control stated that they offered a free home evaluation. As I was not familiar with that term in relation to this industry I decided to give them a call.

Getting ahold of someone was very easy and after talking to them for a couple of minutes I discovered what it means. First off, there is no free evaluation. Despite their website advertising a free evaluation they are not offering it at this time.

When they come out to your house to do their initial service they will inspect for problems and perform the initial service for 99 dollars. I was a little disappointed in this and I think the company should abide by what they promise on their website.
